Hello you wonderful person! I’m so thankful you’re here. Can I be honest with you? Twenty-six was an interesting year. The first half started out amazing and I could tangibly feel times where I stood in heaven like moments or days. But the second half of twenty-six has been straight up hard. I’ve wrestled deep and quite frankly have been very discouraged. Yet here’s the thing: there is always hope and joy to be found. One of the ways I’ve found joy is by praising Jesus for all he has generously blessed me with and more than that just enjoying who he is. Another way to find joy is to give to others less fortunate than yourself. Amongst the many gifts in my life my kiddos in India are some of my dearest treasures. It is an honor to be an advocate for them and give to help their many needs.
So today is my 27th birthday and I would really REALLY love your help! Would you please donate $5, $10, $15, $20, or $27 dollars on behalf of my birthday to my no-longer-orphans in India? It would be the best birthday gift if I could reach my goal of $100K. 🙂 Now please go eat some cake and ice cream on my behalf as well! If you donated make sure to eat an extra slice. 😉 Twenty-seven is going to be amazing!

so, a VERY amazingly and wonderfully happy birthday to you. ‘ve no doubt that some who are close to you (both in relationship and georgraphically) will take some time to demonstrate to you the treaure they hold you to be. And that is as should be.
Yes, I know long stretches of hard time, when it seems nothing is going on, and life “jes gits teedjus”. You know to hang on, do what your hand finds to do, and do it with your might. HE remains faithful.
I’ll just add that, for me, it was in my 27th year that our gracious Lord opened my eyes and heart to the amazing fact that HE had called me for His purposes before He even made this earth. The total transformation even in that year was astounding, and has continued since. He remains faithful even when we deny His very existence. Just when we think we’ve won, we learn He has..,… and ever will.
I’m not suggesting that such a profound transformatiion will come in YOUR 27th year… that was MY story. But I have little doubt that He will continue the transformation in your life, furthering his “project” to make you into something that more closely mimicks His image. Yo are blessed, and I pray you will be even more so, that it will cotinue to spill over into the lives of those around you. That would be another great year, would it not?
