Grateful for:

a long hug and a kiss on the forehead from an auntie

hearing the beautiful accent of a sweet friend on another continent

being able to talk to someone who is in a different day…! Gatta love time change

a walk through a picturesque park with trees arching overhead

sunlight spilling forth at evening to make everything golden

a creatively wrapped package with gifts and a note that brought tears to my eyes

a cousin connection moment where she totally understood

for the strength from Jesus to make it to day 140

I could go on and on… What are you grateful for today? Mind telling me one thing in the comments? I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Claudia for sending me the most beautiful package with this wallet/clutch. (She brought it back from Cambodia!) It made my day and the note is one I’ll keep for forever. 🙂

P.S. Hope you like today’s outfit since I didn’t have time to do more than just throw something on… 🙂

I am thankful for autumn, which is my favorite season. I am also thankful because a girl from my church who has been waiting a long time is going to get married today.

  Aww that is so sweet when someone has waited a long time to find their “one” and then it is their day. I’ll never forget the wedding that I went to where that was the case. 🙂

I’m thankful for the Holy Spirit’s continual presence and for His promise to give us strength sufficient for each day. I’m thankful for God’s Word and His graciousness to implant truth in my mind and heart. I’m thankful for sunshine and laughter and hope. 🙂

I am thankful for many things, it is impossible to name them all. I am thankful a friend showed me your blog. I have been following you since day 93 or somewhere close; I love to see the things you wear, they often give me new ideas of how I can wear my own clothes in new ways. I love how you are speaking up and bringing attention to the plight of countless children in India who need love, Christ’s love, just as much as we do.

I like the outfit you wore today. It’s very cute (and my kind of purple 🙂 ). I also like how you admit to just throwing it together. There are definitely days when that’s all I can do. Thank you for being an inspiration, to myself and many others.

  Colleen you are SO encouraging! Thank you. Your comment was such a blessing! I am grateful to be able to advocate for those sweet children and thankful for everyone’s participation in it with me.
  If it is any comfort there are a lot of days (more than I’d like to admit) that I just throw something on and run out the door…this makes for a lot of times looking down and going “What am I wearing!?!?!” Lol!

I am grateful for:

getting to stand outside in the brisk weather this morning and see the sun shining through the morning haze

a mom who reminds me to enjoy life by her own example

my little sister whose 10th birthday we celebrated today

singing with my family

our wonderful heavenly Father

and this project/ you, Elaini – it has challenged me, encouraged me and I pray changed me.

I’m grateful for the C. siblings whom I babysat last night– Ben (6), Clementine (4), Anna Claire (3) and Calahan (5 mos.). 🙂 That was fun, but SO tiring!

  That is so sweet! Yes children are fun but they wear me out quick too! They have so much energy! I wish I had that much energy!!!
