Thought you might like to hear another story about where your money is going to help the sweet orphans! Your contribution really does make a difference so thank you!
Lazar, at the NTR Colony home, had to go to the dentist last week. Poor kid! He had a sore tooth that looked kind of rotten, so it turned out he needed a root canal. They even found another tooth that needs one so he will have to go back. He was really nervous to go the first time and asked for prayer, but he did great! Attached is a pic. The cost was $100, which isn’t must for our standards but it is 1/5 of the monthly home support, so imagine if every kid had a root canal! Yikes! We are hoping to get some medical mission teams there in the future to perform these kinds of basic procedures instead of having to send them to the dentist each time. |
God bless that precious child! I would be scared to death to have a root canal done! D: So blessed to know that he relied on God for his strength. Definitely should remind us that our lives are much easier than most, and that we ought to be thankful!
Yes a root canal doesn’t sound pleasant in the least! I am thankful that it wasn’t to horrible for him.
That’s great that they were able to get that done for him before it got any worse. Hopefully over time more children will be able to go at the same time. That is how you win a war, by winning one victory at a time.
😀
poor sweetie! I hate even going to the dentist at all! I just about passed out when I was getting a spacer out!
Oh YOU poor thing! Yes going to the dentist isn’t the most exciting thing….
