Last year at this time I had no idea that I would be sitting here writing a blog post. Or that I would have a blog for that matter… Nor did I know that I would be raising money for orphans and connecting with amazing people from all over the world. Then I thought that I would do the 100 days project and be done. Half of my year given to a crazy project. Instead it has turned into a whole year. Given to me as special gift and I give my heart and desires for this project as an offering back to the One who gave it to me. I am blessed.
Will you help my wish come true? I really want to raise the rest of the money by the end of the year….which only gives us four days. Yikes! That means we need to have a thousand dollars a day come in… Would you do me a big favor? Would you please ask as many friends and family as you can to give 5 dollars today? Just think, if we all do that then we’ll have no problem making a miracle happen.
I’m going to be honest with you. I REALLY want the money to come in by the first. It is hard to for me to realize that that might not happen. I’m having a tiny heart struggle yet I will choose to rest and be at peace. You see I’m not just a smiling girl for a camera. I’m real and I have good days and bad days and desires and hopes just like you. Letting go of those things when I need to isn’t always easy…but it is good. Whatever the outcome I will be praising Jesus for what he has done!
UPDATE!! $45,807.82 Let’s get this total to shoot past the goal amount shall we?!

I praying your goal comes in and more by the end of the year. But I’m also praying God gives you peace if it doesn’t.. sometimes we don’t understand things. I’m so proud of you and couldn’t say it enough how amazing you are.. and I hope so much that something happens that your goal comes in by the new year. I love you.. Bethany
You’re wonderful. Thank you for your prayers for peace. They were answered! I love you sweet friend. xoxo
Hey Elaini!
Praying hard that the Savior we serve would do what we cannot and work a miracle in the last three days of this year! Would love to see this project completed by then, but confident that if that is not His plan, we know that there are more lives He wishes to touch through you…
Love you girl! Stay strong for Jesus, resting in His perfect plan!
Hello! So grateful for you and your encouragement. Really appreciate your prayers. Look how mightily God answered! Thank you. Much love to you!
Aww, these pictures are cute. 🙂
I know you can raise the 4,000 you need in four days. It may seem impossible for us to do as human beings, but with God all things are possible. There is no impossible.
I’m praying for you!
I agree! God has been so good and faithful. Just like he always is and always will be. Thank you for your prayers!
Hey! So how did you get together with all these girls!?:) This is awesome!
Lot’s of coordinating! And God bringing them along. So blessed to have worked with all of these amazing women. 🙂
Hey Elaini,
I’ve followed your blog for months now, since right before you started the 100 days, and just yesterday finally made a donation. –my sincere apologies for taking SO long to do that!!!!!!
Remember how something like $5K came in on Day 100?? I think that can- and will- happen again. 🙂
and now I’ll go email all my friends 😉
In Christ,
Sarah
Dear Sarah,
I can’t thank you enough for this encouraging comment. Thanks for sticking with me for so long! And I thank you even more for giving to these sweet children. I am blessed and so are they and I hope you are too!
Yes, I appreciate you pointing me back to the faithfulness of God. He does amazing and wonderful things. Look what he did!!! 😀
Very grateful that you told all your friends. 😀 Blessed by you dear. xxx

Yes it was! 😀 You’re cute. Much love to you Raquel. <3 xxx
Cute photos! I really like your outfit in the photo with “The Goose” 🙂
Dorene did a great job capturing the moment. 🙂
Thanks! That skirt is my mom’s and I love wearing it.
I’m dying to know how you tied your scarf in the second photo. Please share! 🙂
Hi Rachel!
It’s actually very simple. Place the scarf around your neck so that both ends are behind you. Then cross them over each other and bring them to the front. Now just take the ends and make a loose knot and there you have it! Hope that makes sense! 🙂
