I don’t really know about posting today. I’m grieved by the horrendous act that happened yesterday in Boston. I’m praying for those affected by this evil act. I don’t want to be insensitive by posting something frivolous but in this time of heaviness I do want to bring light and a smile to anyone reading on here. So today I will be posting what I’m grateful for and I’d encourage you to leave a comment of what you’re grateful for below. And then please go hug the ones you love… And Caitlin I’m so glad you’re safe.
Grateful for little and big things:
Prayers prayed on my behalf
An amazing friend slipping me something to put towards my dreams. But more than that her encouragement and friendship.
Looking up into a mirror to find the words “I am the one Jesus loves”. You are too.
Exposition of a passage that brought hope.
Patches of blue sky.
Drizzling honey on 100% chocolate while sitting in the warmth of the sun.
Getting to wear my daddy’s hat for these photos.
Spending time with my sister at a clothing exchange and laughing while trying on clothes.
A friends pictures of her little sister with a bunny=perfect sweetness.
Spending time with one of my dearest friends from out of town and getting to feel the baby growing in her kick my hand. Priceless. Truly one of those moment you never forget. Baby boy I already love you.
For wonderful readers who encourage me and share their lives with me. YOU.

Elaini – I am grateful for having such an amazing niece. YOU!
Love,
Aunt Margo
Aunt Margo you’re SO sweet! I love you and I’m grateful to have such an amazing auntie in my life. <3
That’s cute that you are wearing your dad’s hat.
You are darling.
It really is wonderful to feel babies kicking through bellies!! I miss it. 🙁
It is good that you are mourning and heartbroken for the loss of life and the many injured during yesterday’s bombing. 🙁 It was very terrible!
It was fun to wear his hat. 🙂 And you’re so sweet! Thanks friend.
Oh it’s incredible to feel life kicking out and saying “I’m here!”. He was moving like crazy and it was pretty awesome. Aww well I hope you get to feel those kicks again then. 🙂
Yes, I think we should always be grieved for the pain, loss, and tragedy of others.
You look like Eponine from “Les Miserables!” 🙂 And I love you so much Elaini and will be keeping you in my prayers! <3
You’re just too cute! <3 I love you too dear and I appreciate your prayers. xxx
I’m thankful for a God gracious enough to love me and all my flaws. I’m thankful for a wonderful wife to share the rest of my life with. I’m thankful for first responders courageous and skilled enough to handle a wicked situation like yesterday with such composure and confidence. I’m thankful to know God will prevail through everything, no matter how much evil there is in the world.
I’m thankful for this day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice in it! He is good!
What a beautiful list Jon. Thanks for sharing. And congratulations on your recent marriage! I’m very happy for you and your lovely bride.
Amen!
