{Day 83}

Worlds discovered and ones not yet explored.  Happiness, love, revenge, despair, mercy, compassion…life.  Too many to count and not enough hours to read them all.  Crisp bindings or worn pages.  Books.  With every page a telling of a story whether true or imagined.  Sometimes I get so lost in the narrative of a book that I can’t hear.  I’m engulfed in another world, another story.  Yet the pages we read aren’t the only ones telling a tale.  We are in the middle of a grand story.  Our own lives.  The lives of others.  What are you putting on your pages?  What are you putting on the pages of others?

Currently reading The Count of Monte Cristo for the second time…I love the way Alexandre Dumas weaves this story.

    I love to read, too – a good author does just as you describe – just swallows up the reader! I love the idea of weaving a story – I’ve thought often of how to write a story just as well. The Count of Monte Cristo – second reading?? wow – I read it once and found it an amazing read.

    Beautiful, yet simple, look today. Your posts are engaging each day. 😀

      Sandi your comments are always so encouraging. Thank you. Yes, sometimes I’m so engrossed in a book that my mom has to come shake me to have me hear her….
      Yes the Count of Monte Cristo again…its abridged. 🙂 It’s one of my favorite stories and I haven’t read it in forever!

    Just stumbled onto your blog today and I have really enjoyed it. What a huge blessing to have already raised so much money for the orphans! Blessings to you and yours.

      Hello Mary! I am delighted you have enjoyed this blog. 🙂 Yes I am so grateful that everyone is so generous and that so many sweet orphans are getting blessed.

    Is it a scarf on your head? 🙂

    Keep it up! . Only 17 more days. I’m praying for you

    After all this hard work, you deserve a break. Travel abroad. Go to India and visit the orphans you helped give homes.

    How many orphans can fit in each home?

      Yep that’s a scarf. It use to be my grandmothers…
      Thanks for your prayers!
      I wish I could travel abroad. That would be a dream! But I’m broke…
      By law only ten orphans to a home. 🙂
