Both chubby hands gripped the two rough toilet paper rolls (aka binoculars) that were glued together and hung around her neck by a slender piece of yarn. Lifting them to her shining eyes she exclaimed, “I see you!!!” She walked around the yard peering through the craft project with eager sight. I want to see too. See what the future holds for me. (It’s unbelievable how foggy my lenses are. I can’t see right now. Apparently I’m not supposed to.) I want to see what the future holds for the sweet darling orphans in India. When they look through the lens of their life I want them to see hope magnified there instead of pain. Instead of them focusing on survival I want to see them have the opportunity to focus on education and building a beautiful life. I hope you truly see how much these orphans need our help. Please donate at least $10 dollars today. If 1,000 people gave $29 dollars we would reach our goal!!!!
To everyone who has read this blog…THANK YOU. You are amazing. To the (maybe 10?) males who actually read this blog….you deserve an award or something! 😉

Are you crazy? I’ve been reading everyday since the beginning! I’m sure you have lots of readers, we just don’t like to come out from behind our google reader 😉
Yes I am most definitely crazy. 🙂 Thank you, thank you, thank you for reading for so long. It really blesses me. Until having a blog and realizing how great comments are I never commented either!!! Even on blogs that I have followed for years…
Beautiful. Beautiful.
Inspiring to the core.
Wow. Thank you Claudia. That is so encouraging and sweet.
So do you plan to keep blogging after the 100 day project ends? I hope so! 🙂
Yes!!! I sure am. 😀 It makes me happy that you want me to. 🙂
Yay! 🙂
I wrote about you on my blog: http://differenthomeschoolgirl.blogspot.com/2011/08/one-dress-100-days-for-orphans.html
Keep up the good work and God bless!
Wow!!! Thanks so much. 🙂 I am so grateful that you are spreading the word!
God bless you!
This has been such an amazing thing, Elaini….I have watched your blog since day one, and you are such an inspiration to me. What an amazing gift you are giving those orphans!
Hello Lydia! Thank you SO much for following the project. 😀 I am grateful and humbled that I have inspired you in some small way. I am the one who has been blessed by this project…!
Truly inspiring! (Alyssa Barlow Tweeted your link! Retweeted as well 🙂 ) You’ve probably been told this a million times, but maybe after the 100 days are through you can find a way to sell copies of the dress, or even auction the dresses off for the orphans. P.S. If you haven’t heard it before I’m sure you would love Avalon’s “Orphans of God” 🙂 Praying you reach your goal!
Hello! Wow! I had no idea about that tweet but thank you so much for telling me. 😀
Yes I hope we can do something with the dress but I’m still not sure…
I’ll have to check that song out!
Thank you for your prayers…I need them!
Elaini- I don’t need to say this, but I think you’re smokin’
Lol You’re just sweet darlin.
I started following at about day 27, and I’ve been following since. I’m so glad that God has given you this wonderful gift of giving to these orphans. I’ve been praying that you continue to have the strength and determination to complete this journey, and it looks like He’s answered!
Hello! Thanks for following. 😀 I appreciate your prayers…and comment. 🙂 God certainly has done amazing things for me!
