$100K

one hundred thousand, one hundred and fifty-three dollars and four cents

$100,153.04

one, zero, zero, one, five, three. zero, four

100% raised

Friends, we did it! Together we’ve been able to help hundreds of children in India who are no-longer-orphans! Need proof?  Read this.  The person that tipped us over to reach the goal donated in honor of Hosanna.  I ugly cried.  Because these kiddos have touched my life more than I will have ever touched theirs.  God graciously allowed me to see $100,153.04 raised for my darling kiddos.  To God be the glory!

THANK YOU!  I wish I could give you all hugs and thank you personally!  This isn’t the end of the journey.  I’m not entirely sure what’s next (although I do have some idea 😉 )but I hope you’ll stick around to find out.  It’s going to be grand!  This is just the beginning of new things for this blog space.  Let’s celebrate!

This is great news…. and a hearty “well done” to you, Elaini. Yes, I know you did not DO the work. But you did get a whacked out idea, something about a black dress, a few years ago (I well remember thinking you were nuts.. until I asked you in face to face what it was all about.). But you had a dream, a vision, and would NOT let go….. sort of like a monkey on someone’s back. Or was it more like a joey in his mama’s pouch? And, by sharing your story dragged many of us along. And now we see the end (thus far….) result. Crazy? Yeah, like Father Abraham. I know those kids have changed you…. possibly far more than you have changed them. (I am right now thinking about a little guy in Haiti, and I wondered who would efect more change upon whom…. a story yet to be written).

But that is the amazing power of our God. He can take a stick, an empty bucket, a big pot of water… and do what we cannot even imagine. And when He does things like that involving one person crazy enough to trust Him, well, the impact spreads far beyond anything we can imagine. How many have your story touched and changed? Its probably a good thing we don’t know. Our swelled heads would not have enough hair to cover them.

DO keep us informed about whatever is next…..

Woo Hoo! There is great rejoicing here, in India and in Heaven! There are impacts here and in India (and everywhere there is Internet) that we won’t know until we get to Heaven! Indeed, to God be the Glory!
