I’m off to Minnesota! Going to be flying all day… While I don’t particularly enjoy being strapped into a seat for hours I do love the anticipation of getting to my destination. I’m excited to be going with my mom to my cousin’s wedding and seeing family I haven’t seen for over a year. So since I’m gone this week posting is going to be a tad bit different. I hope you like it! 🙂 Question for today: What is the farthest trip you have ever made and where to? As always let me know in the comments. 🙂
P.S. Outfits are going to be VERY simple this week…Going to be showing you some dresses from my “collection”. 😉 Oh yeah and it was windy when I took this pic…
UPDATE: $35,299.45 😀 Who wants to push it over to 300?
The farthest trip i’ve made was to Australia!! 🙂
Wow! I SO want to go to Australia…some day! 🙂
India! So wish that you could go there!
Envious! I hope I can go as well. 🙂
What part did you go to?
Honduras. i flew there with my older brother to surprise my sister who was working for a missionary family.. the funniest thing was that the security at the airport was sure i was kidnapped:)
Haha! That’s not good that they thought you were kidnapped but it does make for a funny story. 🙂 Must have been an interesting trip!
Mine was Haiti! I went there after all the earthquakes. Our team went to a place about 100 miles north of Port-au-Prince called Gonaives. It was wonderful and I didn’t want to leave!
That is wonderful that you had the opportunity to go do that. Maybe you will get to go back.
2 months ago I would have replied “somewhere in the U.S. ” But now, thanks to God’s wonderful workings, I was able to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this year! It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life!
Enjoy your wonderful trip!
(Oh, and I love flying!! My trip overseas was the second time I had ever flown on an airplane in my life…it was beautiful!)
My first mission trip was to the Dominican Republic when I was 15! I too can say that it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
Thanks and I had a great trip!
Wow, never been out of the country. I dream of going to South America though, so much to learn, see, and do.
I have been to Arizona in July, I would not recommend that for anyone. Especially if their vehicle air conditioning decides to stop working. ;P
I love the way your hair looks in the wind Elaini, windy hair is so fresh and wild. Though miserable to brush afterwards!
Hooray on the update! C’mon someone, push us over $300!
Start saving those pennies!
Yeah Arizona in July sounds a bit miserable…especially without air conditioning!
The furthest I’ve been to is Australia, nothing special, but I’ve been twice now for a family holiday with all my siblings and family, really fun! And I know you didn’t ask for the best memory, but I might as well share it, 🙂 There were lots of good memories, but one of the best was an awesome ice cream shop! It had the best ice creams and sorbets, like rock melon sorbet and lychee sorbet! Delicious!
Esther
Where do you live that Australia is nothing special!?!?! I REALLY want to go there. Aren’t ice cream shops wonderful? Even though I can’t have dairy OR sugar I still like them. 🙂
This summer I traveled to Madrid, Spain on a missions trip. At 26 years old, it was my first flight ever…11 hours!
That must have been incredible to go to Spain. I would love to visit there as well….
Way to break into flying! Lol!
Flying from New Hampshire to Texas, that’s my farthest.
That’s great that you had that opportunity!
The farthest I’ve been from home was India. I’ve been there 4 times. 🙂
So envious! I want to go! 4 times!!!! Where have you been to and did you go with a group? Would love to hear about that. 🙂
I live in australia , so the furtherest I have been is to Israel 🙂 But it seems everywhere is far away from here 😛 I am 23 and it was my first trip on my own 🙂
I have really enjoyed reading your blog and all that your doing with your project.
May God Bless you in all your doing for Him and if you ever come to Australia you will always have somewhere to stay.
Chlo
You have been to Israel!? It would be incredible to visit there and I hope to do that someday. You went by yourself? That was brave. What was it like?
So glad you are enjoying the blog and the project. 🙂 Thank you so much for your offer. That is very sweet of you! If I ever go to Australia I will definitely let everyone know on the blog! 🙂
The farthest trip I’ve ever made was probably West Virginia or Ohio– I live a little North of Dallas, TX.

That’s great that you have had the opportunity to travel. 🙂
YEP! I like trips– most of the time. 🙂 I was recently invited to South Carolina to a friend’s Birthday party, but that’s a long shot!
~Jo
I hope you get to go! Sounds fun. 🙂
Wow. I used to think I had been far from home. 🙂 The farthest I’ve been is either Utah or Arizona which for a young teen is pretty far. I had so much fun. It’s wonderful to hear about all of you going to all over the world. Sounds fun!
Yes traveling can be pretty fun and exciting. 🙂
Cool!! My best friend is from Minnesota!! Enjoy the cold. =) The longest trip I’ve ever been on was about 16 hours driving down to Florida with my other best friend!! haha Loooooooooong drive, especially with a toddler and baby in the car =)
Thankfully we left as it was getting cold! That does sound like a loonngggg drive….I hope you had fun! 🙂
