{Day 160}

Well the verdict is in and our trip to California was: wonderful!Β  It was so lovely being with my parents and experiencing a new place for the first time.Β  I will be sharing pictures from my trip over the next few posts but here is me in San Fransisco on the dock near the farmers market… πŸ™‚

The Lord gave me so many little and big gifts during our trip so I wrote them down and would like to give you a little glimpse into all the blessings I experienced.

~Pastures dotted with spotted cows.
~Hills in the distance that were different shades of blue and indigo.
~Trees draped and dressed in gauzy fog.
~Waking up to the murmur of shared prayers from parents while in the car.
~Entering California for the first time!
~Seeing Mount Shasta gloriously rising into a clear blue sky.
~At a lookout point above the city: Looking down was like seeing glittering jewels on a piece of black silk.Β  Alive and shining.Β  (This picture doesn’t even come close to the beauty of it)
~Church bells somewhere in the city chiming and tolling out the time.

I’ll save the rest for next time. πŸ™‚

Check.this.out.Β  UPDATE:Β  $36,781 πŸ˜€Β  Soooo only need 19 dollars to push it to the 800 mark. πŸ˜€Β  Will you be the one to make that happen?

Ooohh, I’ve never been to California! I’d love to go though. I hope you reach your goal! I just figured out about this blog and I think it’s really cool. I’ve already donated some but I might donate more later. Keep up the good work!

I was just waiting for some pictures of you in CA. Wow, it sounds lovely. Where I live in the Midwest, cows dotting the scenery are like everyday to me, but those mountains sound like they would be worth seeing.

I am still praying for the money to go up, hooray!

I’ve missed you Elaini. Nice to see your face again.

Sounds like you had an amazing time! I’m glad you were so blessed. I’ve kind-of-sort-of been to California. (Does it count when you’re in an airport?!?)

Anyway, it looks lovely! I’m still praying for the money to go up!!

We did! Haha I don’t know if the airport counts but that just means you need to go back for fun!
Thanks for your prayers. Really appreciate it.

Glad to see a post again! Water and bridges are wonderful (especially if you’re on the bridge)! I like random little and big things God does…in our house we call them “God things, God sightings, or Victories.” My mom encourages us kids to write in a Victory Journal of cool things God did in our day πŸ™‚
Btw, who’s the little one by you in the first pic?

Hi! Yep trying to post a few times a week still. Don’t you just like going over bridges? I do. Hmm I like how you call them that. I’ve done that before where I got something that was a direct answer to prayer…and I end up calling it my God (insert whatever it was). I just started a Gift journal. Sounds similar to what you do.
I have no idea who that little one was…just ran into the frame as we were taking the picture… πŸ™‚
