{Day 196}

Hello everyone and hello 2012!Β  No, I didn’t die.Β  Just needed a break since all this excitement has got me going all crazy. πŸ˜‰Β  As in I’m walking down the hall in my house and just have to do a little skip… or two.Β  Or start going eeeeeee (think high pitched and you get the idea)!!!!!Β  Yep, I think I turned into a little 5 or 6 year old or something over new years eve. πŸ˜‰Β  And the numbers 5 and 6 have never looked so good.Β  Especially when they are combined! Yes here is what I think you have all been waiting for:

UPDATE!!! $56,104.60

And guess what?!Β  Our kids in India are getting mattresses!!! This makes my heart so happy.Β  15 of the 20 homes are covered.Β  If you want to donate you still can! I really want the rest of the homes to be taken care of…

Thanks for helping make 2011 such an amazing year for me.Β  I can’t wait to see what this year brings and what God has for me.Β  Particularly since I have NO idea what I’m doing…hahah! I do have plans to keep blogging though. πŸ™‚Β  So I hope I’ll see you around.Β  (I have exciting news to share soon)

And yes I feel like I’m not touching the ground I have so much joy.Β  It should be illegal or something this “high” of joy I’m feeling!

    Well done Miss Elain. The joy you are experiencing should not surprise anyone…in light of God’s promises in the Bible.

    Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Luke 6:38

      Thank you Mike! Very, very grateful for what God has done. That is a perfect verse since my cup does feel like it is running over with blessing. πŸ™‚

    I am just overjoyed, and so thrilled that those children are getting mattresses. I know that when my family stayed at a Christian camp and I slept on a bunk for 3 nights I was much more thankful for my mattress at home. How wonderful.

    So glad they get mattresses!! For those of us who hopped on board and started reading your blog later, can you fill us in? You say 15 out of 20 are covered. Does that mean you’ve built 20 orphan homes with the money you raised? And what does covered refer to? That 15 of them have mattresses, or what? I’d love to see more pictures of the homes themselves, and the orphans too!! πŸ™‚ God bless…

      There are 20 orphan homes in India now but 11 of them we helped to start! Yes 15 of the homes have mattresses and there are 5 more that still need them. That does not include bedding…
      I’ll try to keep getting pictures of the children to put up. πŸ™‚ God bless you!

      5 more homes still need mattresses but the other 15 have theirs. πŸ™‚ It’s pretty wonderful how everyone’s money is really changing these children’s lives. So very beautiful to watch. It makes me happy too!
      My friend Christa put this outfit together and I really like the tights as well. πŸ™‚
