{Day 108}

Hello all you wonderful people!  I hope your week is off to a fabulous start.  So several of you have (very kindly) inquired about my doctor appointment.  It went pretty well as far as asking about a trip to India.  My doctor said that although she would have never recommended me going to India that she didn’t think it would be a stupid idea as long as I really did my research and we did a lot of things for my health.  So now comes the time that I have a lot of detail questions that I am going to need answered.  Can I be honest though?  I am worried about going.  As much as I long to go see these precious little children that we have been raising money for I also don’t want to permanently damage my health.  While I wouldn’t change all the pain I went through for all those years I also don’t necessarily want to repeat them…So yes I am a little on the terrified side.  Yet I so badly want to go as well! Oh God please give me wisdom.  Any thoughts??

This video has all 1oo days! Thank you Alex! I really appreciate it. 😀

Check out the updated total! Isn’t that awesome? 😀

    What part of India are you planning to go to? We’ve been to Kolkata twice and it was a life changing experience. It’s why we decided to keep on adopting. 🙂

      Well all the homes are in the state of Andhra Pradesh but I’m not sure exactly where I would be going if I can take the trip. I am so jealous that you have been to India and I love that you keep adopting! Thank you for providing a home for a child. 😀

    Hi Elaini!

    Though I have not commented on your blog before, I just wanted to tell you that my prayers are with you! I’ve only been following your blog for about a week (actually, it was two or three days before your 100 days were up! :D) but I am truly blessed by your story. May God continue to bless you, that you may bless others!

    Your fellow sister in Christ,
    Laura

    I will continue to pray for you. It is my prayer that God will give you peace about whatever decision you make, and that if you choose to go He would ease your pain and bless you instead for your selfless sacrifice! <3

    Hi Elaini! 🙂
    I understand about being worried and excited to go at the same time. Although I’ve never been worried for my health’s sake, it is very scary to go on a mission trip even when everything is arranged. How long are you *possibly* planning to go for?
    I think that you should pray about it and that if God works out the details then that’s his blessing on you for going! I’ll be praying for you!
    Love,
    Madeline <

      Hi!!! If I go it will be short term. Probably like a 10 day thing. I really don’t know though. I appreciate your prayers and support! We’ll see what God will do. 🙂

    Just saw the link to your blog on the rebelution blog and had to check it out. =)
    I was just in India last month and wow was it interesting. I don’t know what all health concerns you might have while over there, but as far as surface things I noticed while being there, there is lots of smog/exhaust from cars (I get car sick and they drive crazy over there so I brought lots of Bonine along) and where we were (down south/Tamil Nadu) it would have been almost impossible to find certain foods had I been on a restricted diet…) It is very dirty and we got lots of shots before going…I’m sure these are all things you already know, but those are a few things I can think of off the top of my head, and not knowing what health problems you have…I’ll put a link to the short blog post I wrote about our trip after we got back. If you go I hope you have an awesome trip!
