My mom and I went to Powell’s books (one of the largest bookstores in the world) yesterday. We walked the seemingly endless rows of shelves that created a labyrinth of knowledge and information to be discovered. Words met my eyes almost everywhere I looked. Words that conveyed meaning. How blessed I am to be able to read. To have words form meaningful sentences in my mind. It makes me stop to consider that the orphans in India don’t have the opportunity to learn or to have their minds academically stretched…unless they are rescued. Will you be part of the orphan’s story today and give to a child in need?
Dear Eliani,
Hey it’s me Poem Girl again! I love reading it’s one of my favorite things to do besides writing poetry and books never had one published besides the poems on my blog anyway I’ve been thinking about what you said in this post here’s a quote I like I’ve never heard it but it sounds familiar I just thought of it “There’s a story around every corner all you have to do is look for it” what you’re saying makes a difference and I’m praying that you reach your goal and in fact go over it I fed children for a day you’re feeding a children a life time of needs cloths, food, and other things that will help a child to experience a happy life!
Yours Truly

HI! Glad to see you on here. 🙂 Thank you for giving and for your encouragement. It means so much to me to have people cheering me on!
Thanks for sharing! It’s true that we are sooo blessed to have the education we have today in America. And I love Powell’s. 🙂
Happy to do so! Yes we are blessed…. I wish everyone could visit Powell’s. 😀
What a darling dress! Ooooo… bookstores! I sometimes think I’d like to live in one, if it were possible. =D
Thanks! And yes I agree with you. I’d love to live in a library…or move it into my house. 🙂 You know with beautiful dark word bookshelves that go up so high you need a ladder? 😉 Hey a girl can dream right!?
