{Day 148}

What a journey this has been… It has been exhilarating and tear inducing and everything in between.  I have had the honor of hearing from some of you who are halfway across the globe as well as connecting with new people.  I never thought I would put together outfits and put them on a blog.  Ha! I never thought I would actually have a blog.  But here I am today finished with wearing the black dress and yet still trying to raise the $50K…  I still hope to go to India and meet these amazing children.  As I sit here and write this I can hear delighted squeals and giggles from the other room where my nephew and niece are playing a game.  Such life and joy in them.  They are loved and well taken care of.  I am thankful that you have joined me on this adventure to give that same joy to little darlings in India.  God has been so faithful and I’m blessed.  I pray you have been too.  I pray your heart has been so touched by the plight of these children that you can’t help but go and do something.  Friends I am thankful you have been here with me… 🙂

    I didn’t start reading the blog until the last few days of your wearing the black dress, but I have read it faithfully since then. It has been so exciting to see how this blog, the total, and your writing have developed. Thanks for letting us go on this journey with you Elaini.

    I am thankful that you took the journey to do this. 😀 So many people don’t. They think its impossible, stuff like this is for the “other people” to handle. One of my favorite quotes is “God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called” so anyone CAN do something like this, as long as they seek God and He has been equipping them. I’m so glad you listened to what God wanted you to do. 😀 And I’m SO glad there are little squeals of laughter and joy coming from India right now because there are little children there who had a full meal tonight. 😀
    You’re going to be an awesome mother one day, by the way! 😀

      I have been blessed. The Lord has given me the strength when I felt I had none.
      Really like that quote. I certainly did not feel equipped but the Lord has done what he wanted. 🙂
      Sofia that was really sweet. I pray I would be a good mommy some day if the Lord entrusts me with little ones.
